The mixed-use project includes 19 units of transitional housing and 6 units of emergency shelter.  It also has office space for the ADWAS agency and support services and common areas for residents.  A Place of Our Own is the nation's first housing project to be designed specifically to meet the accessibility and security needs of this population.  And it serves as a model for ADWAS' sister organizations around the country.
