Community Psychiatric Clinic (CPC) and Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) had a shared vision of providing permanent housing for low-income persons with chronic mental illness.  Common Ground joined the partnership to help bring this vision into reality.  We assisted with the planning, financing, and housing development to ultimately bring Albion Place into existence.  With SHA owning the land, and CPC providing the supportive services, this unique project offers an opportunity for individuals who have gained a high level of recovery from mental illness to live independently while having the structure and support of a larger established community.
