Once completed, the Bay Vista Hope VI redevelopment will be Kitsap County’s largest affordable-housing complex in recent memory. Consisting of 4 new developments, Bay Vista will replace the 82-acre Westpark neighborhood's 571 units of former World War II-era ship builder housing. The Summit at Bay Vista was the first completed phase. Bay Vista South is the next, consisting of 19 buildings and adding 68 townhouse units for low-income families. Common Ground provided Bremerton Housing Authority with strategic guidance and development work, advising them on overall unit mix, product type, construction sequencing, and funding.
