Cascade Mental Health Care (CMHC) came to Common Ground when they were ready to build their first housing project serving the mentally ill in Lewis County.  We provided full development services for CMHC and in October of 2007, Cascade Court was officially open.  It has 11 units of permanent housing for chronically mentally ill adults with CMHC providing ongoing mental health services.  All units are restricted to individuals earning less than 50% of the area medium income, although the 11 residents likely earn well below that.
