Common Ground provided complete housing development services for Consejo Counseling and Referral Service to help them build and operate a transitional housing complex serving the Western Washington Latino community. This building is a 23-unit extremely low-income transitional housing facility that serves survivors of domestic violence and their children. The clients are primarily Spanish-speakers whose income is at or below 30% of area median income. Three units are set aside for persons with disabilities. Consejo offers on-site culturally appropriate supportive services including case management and counseling.
