Eastside service agencies Friends of Youth and Hopelink collaborated to build a unique facility providing housing and services to low-income families in East King County. Common Ground assisted with assembling the finances and managing the project from beginning to end to help make the Duvall Community Service Center & Family Housing a reality. The facility’s ground floor houses the Community Service Center run by Friends of Youth. They provide individual, group, and family counseling, as well as substance abuse counseling for middle and high school youth living in the Duvall area. Hopelink is responsible for operating the housing located above the Center, as well as providing case management.
