With two successful housing programs already in place in Whatcom County, the Kulshan Community Land Trust found itself ready to expand its offerings. The Land Trust called on Common Ground to help them explore options, make decisions and develop a plan to pursue their goals. Common Ground worked with the Land Trust’s Board to clarify the mission of their organization and consider their options. We also guided the Land Trust’s Board, staff and stakeholders through an eight-step strategic planning process that resulted in the organization’s first five-year plan.
