Lillian Rice Center and Belltown Senior Apartments

2208-2nd Ave.
Seattle, WA 98121

The Lillian Rice Center with the Belltown Senior Apartments situated directly above it is a unique mixed-use project combining independent housing with comprehensive services for seniors.  The top floors are ADA accessible studios and one-bedroom apartments, while the lower floors house Senior Services programs, a Health and Wellness Center, and a community room.  The Senior Services organization offices are at the ground floor overlooking downtown Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood.  Common Ground wrote funding applications for the Center.  We also helped Senior Services secure a great location and hire the architect and contractor.  We successfully managed the budget and timeline throughout the entire construction process, so they could have a celebratory grand opening in the Fall of 2001.
