Senior City Apartments is a mixed use, Transit Oriented Development (TOD) combining 62 units for low-income and disabled seniors and a 3,000-square-foot community facility. Senior City is located adjacent to the Federal Way Transit Center, a bus public transit center and 1,000 space parking garage. It has the distinction of being the first TOD project on Sound Transit acquired property. Common Ground secured over $17 million in permanent capital funding and over $9 million in construction financing. We continued to provide full housing development services. And the project was completed in 2010 on time and within budget.
