South Seven Senior Village

100 Church Ln.
Port Hadlock, WA 98339

Back in 2000, community members at Port Hadlock’s Community United Methodist Church set out to transform the land holdings next to their church into affordable housing.  Then Olympic Community Action Programs stepped in to sponsor and Common Ground came into the picture to secure financing and manage the rest of the project to completion.  We utilized modular senior housing with universal design to keep the project’s costs low without decreasing the quality of the facility.  The building now offers 15 one-story units reserved for low-income seniors.  This is just the first of three phases with multi-family units planned for the future.
