The Spokane Community Housing Association provides housing for low-income residents in the Spokane area. As their rental portfolio grew, they recognized the need to develop long-term plans for their organization's future. The SCHA called on Common Ground's experience with organizational development to help them develop a long-term plan for their agency and rental housing portfolio. Common Ground worked with their executive director and board members to develop a business plan to guide their growth and management decisions for the next five years. We also facilitated board discussions that resulted in the adoption of asset management policies for their rental portfolio, as well as a succession plan.
