Spokane County Mental Health Housing Needs Report (Capacity Building)

312 W. 8th Ave.
Spokane, WA 99204

Common Ground developed the Spokane County Mental Health Housing Needs Report with the assistance of multiple Spokane-based housing agencies, mental health experts and service organizations. The document outlines the many unique challenges that homeless persons with chronic mental illness face in Spokane County. It also described the many opportunities that local agencies and service providers have to increase housing capacity for this population. Common Ground developed several strategies for Spokane County area mental health service providers, agencies and others interested in furthering affordable housing for the mentally ill to implement. If successfully implemented, the strategies could provide 100 new housing units per year to serve persons suffering from mental illness and accessing services in Spokane County. You can download the report here.
