Common Ground was commissioned to develop the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program-mandated Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing, 2005-2009 for the Tri-Cities area. The report is a compilation of real estate data, housing conditions and factors and other information, which can help in determining if patterns of discrimination or lack of choice impact a community’s citizens. This document provided clear documentation of housing needs and challenges to fair housing so that communities could work toward a barrier-free future and housing for all.
