Examples of Our Work

Solid Ground - Brettler Family Place

Transforming a historic former military base into durable affordable housing for formerly homeless families brought considerable financing and construction challenges. We assisted Solid Ground every step of the way to its 2011 grand opening.

DESC – Rainier House

Downtown Emergency Service Center wanted to do more than offer temporary shelter for homeless clients, and engaged Common Ground for planning, financing and project management support. The result is a state-of-the-art 50-unit facility offering permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless adults with disabilities.

Spokane Urban Ministries – Walnut Corners

We guided Spokane Urban Ministries from start to finish through its first housing project, Walnut Corners. The partnership led to 47 units of affordable rental units with commercial space for neighborhood small businesses. Today, it stands as a testament to the value affordable housing can add to a neighborhood’s vitality.
